I was looking at *Rimfrost's art, and a person commented on another person's signature, and some 12-year-old kid who is now banned flamed that person. You went directly to the kid's profile page and told her just what you think about what she said, and I'd like to say that I think this world needs more people like you.

I also told that kid what I thought, but that was before I realized she's banned and won't receive my messages.

Anyway, thank you for being strong and eloquent, and standing up for what you know is true.

i normally have nothing against people that express their opinions, I actually find it fun to debate with them. however, there are those that can't understand that other people actually have opinions themselves, and when faced with those opinions, they become rather rude in their comments. like the splendid example the 12 year old gave us. But if you just respond in a civil matter and actually prove them wrong in their ridiculous accusations they quickly cower

also the kid did not respond so either he/she had a hissy fit after reading it, or was banned before reading it.

but it would be splendid if everyone tried to be a little more understanding of others opinions. that way there would be far less conflict, both large scale and minor in the world

I have no problem with people posting their opinions, either, but that splendid 12-year-old just didn't know how to do it.

Yes, I noticed she didn't respond to you. Actually, there were only a couple of people she replied to, so I'm assuming she was blocked before she got to read the rest of them.

She wasn't cowering, though, which is interesting. I do see where you're coming from. Civility is the best way to go.

But for the people she was still replying to, she kept her attitude up.

And yes, I think too many people won't accept opinions as opinions.

hmm, i don't think its that they won't accept opinions as opinions. but rather that they quite simply get angry when they find out that other people are also allowed to have their individual opinions :/ I.E they accept that other people have opinions, they just don't bloody like it. so they feel the need to mock the others opinions and then enforce their own

it is to be expected that a 12 year old doesn't back down tho. they ARE childish since they're you know, children.

hopefully she'll get a little more considerate when she gets older
